Preventative Online Reputation Management
When it comes to creating, and maintains online reputation, every client requires a different solution, and this particular brand was in need of what is called, “preventative online reputation management.”
After referred to by a previous satisfied client, we were hired to facilitate preventative online reputation management to improve search results relating for a unique public figure. This task however, was just a bit different from the norm. This time around the issue wasn’t a negative image, but of positive search queries in the form of articles, press releases, and profiles appearing everywhere but the first page.
The project called for further improvement in online perception (the reputation was already great), by shifting the positive links to the head of the pack, so to speak.
Our strategy began with cultivation of the client’s key phrases frequently used in searches for said individual. After aggregating these primary key phrases and their variations. We found location unique variations of the phrase as well as company specific alterations.We then compared this list against actual Google, Bing, and Yahoo results, and eliminated the unpopular search terms.
The next tactic called for aggregation of the mention positive web content. We found and highlighted twenty five positive results that met certain technical and content criteria, and then prepared these for the next step.
Centralized online nexuses were constructed with very relevant domain names including online profiles on key social media sites. These web nexuses were then used to create content, and facilitated a ‘relevancy network’ – a network of links that connected relevant web content in may different locations. We boosted the effectiveness of this inter-linking program with SEO strategies which amplified the interpreted relevance of each of the clients profiles.
In less then a month the program began to show signs of promise and progress. On all major search engines, the first page now displays only the most positive articles in regards to the public figure. Now when a journalist, investor, or any other individual interested does their homework on our client, the the results are exactly what we choose it to be.
